PolyAir Low Profile Dual Valve Cushion

The innovative POLYAIR® Low Profile (P301C) is a dual valve, 6cm high air cushion is suitable for patients with:

• General poor state of health and mobility; 
• A past history of pressure sores on contact with seating area,
• Complete or incomplete paralysis of the trunk or lower limbs,
• Impaired or absent sensation of the lower member,
• Spasticity / Contractures
• Postural asymmetries, unbalanced pelvic; or
• Vascular amputation

P301C cushion can be used, with:

• Pressure sores (Stage I to IV according to EPUAP) is present; or
• An increased to very high risk according to evaluation scale (Braden, Norton, Waterlow, ...) is present.

Accurate setup is ensured through the included pressure measurement tool (manometer), allowing clinicians and users to precisely set air volume while the patient is seated. Correct inflation is achieved in four simple, repeatable steps:

1. Measure the circumference from the buttocks to the abdomen and record the value.

2. Record the user’s body weight.

3. Refer to the supplied calibration graph to identify the correct setting (levels 1–6).

4. Connect the pump and inflate or deflate the cushion until the LED indicator confirms the prescribed level.
